About Ginger

Ginger grows in the tropical areas of Peru and it is highly value for its medicinal and culinary properties. The edible part of the plant is its hand-shaped root (rhizome), which has a strong, sour and spicy taste.
Ginger is grown in the high amazon rainforest of Peru. The most cultivated variety is the yellow one which is characterized by a tastier and richer flavor than the white’s varieties of ginger.
